| Sorry, SC, comments crossed. We can probably agree to disagree, can’t we, about the extent to which Abbott is trying to favourably contrast himself with Gillard re family? Especially since I haven’t argued and I don’t think anyone else has that the ‘family man’ persona is actually a sham; it’s obviously real.The fact that women can’t ‘have it all’ is precisely what I’ve been saying, and I’ve never believed that we could — although if you look at Quentin Bryce’s CV you’ll see that she somehow seems to have done so. But then, she is a very exceptional woman. |
